DOE could end screening for top NYC schools after coronavirus pandemic

The coronavirus may kill the controversial practice of “screening” students for admittance to NYC’s most coveted middle and high schools, at least temporarily.

With this year’s state math and English exams canceled, a watered-down grading policy enacted, and the tossing of attendance, the key factors for admission to selective schools have been dropped or diminished.

A-ha. The Commie is strong in this one. The torrent of malodorous diarrhea going by the name of DumblASSio and his henchman Schools Chancellor Carranza are pulling out their copies of Alinsky to use the COVID crisis to finally, finally ruin the few decent schools left in the NYC school system. Carranza, the racist LaRaza bot DumblASSio selected as the schools chancellor, actually was quoted as saying, “Never waste a good crisis.”

Their entire agenda has been to replace any sort of academic criteria with racial/ethnic quotas. They would dearly love to eliminate the stiff entrance exams to those few highly academic schools left and open the floodgates to their beloved black and Hispanic students. Mind you, those black and Hispanic students had the same opportunities to study hard and thereby pass the exam, but most of them were too busy cutting classes, disrupting classes, wandering the halls, etc. So now, despite that behavior, these two racist IDIOTS want to reward them by letting them attend these prestigious schools. So where does that leave the kids who DIDN'T go to that party, DIDN'T get high or drunk, turned in their assignments, etc.--the kids who deserve to go to a school where classroom disruptions from lowlifes don't happen? I can tell you precisely what will happen: the unqualified students admitted purely on the basis of their complexion will NOT have a sufficiently high reading level to remotely grasp what is being taught in those classes; they are mostly Advance Placement classes equivalent to college level. Then, frustrated and humiliated, replicating their crude way to cope with situations not going well, they will act out in class and disrupt it for everyone. If the class cannot proceed, then they won't be shown up as not belonging there in the first place. Thus, NO ONE will be able to learn and every single day's lessons will be wasted.

But hey, there will be more blacks and Hispanics in those classes, and that is ALL Carranza and DumblASSio care about. They don't care if no one learns anything, they just want photos to show off all the brown and black skinned kids in those classes so they can boast of "diversity" and "equality". Both of them should be in jail for the rest of their miserable lives, for many reasons, but the tragedy is that the airplane NYC is piloted by incompetent agenda-driven idiots who have the stick pointed forward, plane nose headed straight for the ground and no one seems to be able to do anything about it.

Yup, same thing gonna be happening in colleges with no entrance exams required, they get to fill up their diversity buckets and degrees will mean nothing.
As it is, they let graduating students choose to end this semester pass/fail.

I have always been leery of an institution that charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for degrees that are worth nothing in the marketplace. Their graduates leave broke, with massive amounts of student debt, making it so that they put off finding someone, marrying someone, having children, and by the time they’re ready to have children, the woman is nearly infertile. So they scrape up whatever they have left and go for in vitro techniques to try to conceive a baby.

The system is abusive and has led to suicides.

Oh yes oh, I forgot to mention that Canada is good for one thing. Not its stupid anti-gun laws, nor its pathetic drama teacher Prime Minister, or the lack of anyone, at least in Quebec, who is willing to get married anymore.

No, Canada is good, seriously, because even the best schools cost only around $5,000 a year. There may be exceptions, such as at a fancy private school, but in the public domain, even schools like the University of British Columbia, which is apparently a very good school, cost only around $5,000. I think that’s the case, though if I’m wrong, I want to know.
