Paging Jonathan Hollerman, Jonathan Hollerman; please up the courtesy phone.

He is all over the topic of the vulnerability of the grid AND its repair.

There has to be a lot more going on than we will ever know.

America needs to build all major grid components again. Finally.

He exempted small systems less than 69KV. But isn’t there backflow risk if the Chicoms install software systems?

Another thought: Would the Biden Pelosi people open this up to China if they gain power?

Trump might need to get the NSA involved to make sure there aren’t any back doors for China.

Trump just did the job of Congress, namely the Homeland Security and Energy Committees. They should be taking the heat for not acting.<pP

Yup. He’s not going to get caught with his pants down again on any critical supplies that are only being made offshore.

He is all over the topic of the vulnerability of the grid AND its repair.

He actually wants to do something about it, instead of letting it rust and fail. Amazing what gets done when a businessman is at the helm.

The increasing computerization of “things” creates an opportunity to stuff malware into devices, designed to facilitate disruption of destruction of our electrical grid at a point where an enemy desires it.

Wondering if this act addresses the fact that Chinese are shopping for some cheap oil patch land in W TX as mentioned by Wall St Journal recently

I thought the company that bought out the Westinghouse business with the large transformer plant moved production to Canada.

Ah yes, and who could forget Stuxnet? Imagine spinning out a few reactors instead of just a few centrifuges? This is an excellent move.

One of the “Die Hard” movies (#4, “Live Free or Die Hard”) had the plotline of a tech genius subverting the national infrastructure through computerized hacks
