I don’t know anything about reservations. Do the kids take off as soon as they are out of school...like they did in rural VT?
My wife did (the Crow Agency). All of her siblings did. Most people do not want to stay.

Well, my wife got off about 300 yards from the reservation.
BUT, it’s Ruidoso. And one of the most beautiful spots in the world.
AND, she served in the US Army and is a medical doctor.
Great place to live, if you do something other than work at the ski lodge or the casino.
