Ya know Bob, I was just sittin here recalling when Mr. Trump suggested that Ted Cruz’s father was connected to the Kennedy assassination, and oh what a vicious body slam that was.
Then I remembered that President Trump has never told us anything that didn’t turn out to be true - we didn’t know that when he made the comment about Cruz - what if it’s true?
When Cruz was in the running, there was quite a bit of discussion about his father, who was Cuban, and photos of the scene at Kennedy’s assassinatino showed someone purportedly Cruz Snr. And some other purported evidence. I don’t remember details, sadly. At the time, there seemed to possibly be some “there” there.
I think I never took Trump too seriously in his early days on the stump. That had to change when his joke about the Russians turning over Hildy's emails became part of the grounds for impeachment by a mindless rabid mob. His passing reference to bleach being injected for an antiviral is just twice told tales.
There's no political advantage now to uncovering Ted Cruz's family heritage. ;)
