UVC “robots” (device sits in room & rotates around) have been around for awhile...our local children’s hospital has them. Used in conjunction with normal patient room cleaning procedures. Downside is UV damage to items in the room (paint, plastics, fabric, etc.).

This does not look that hard to duplicate and crank out a few million in unused factories. This is pretty much a transformer connected to a few powerful UV bulbs that also put out ozone.
Are the parts Chinese? Probably.

For home use, an ozone generator (Amazon +/- $179) may disinfect entire rooms or the whole house.
There are competing claims online about how well it works; from my reading a lot of the hate appears to be blogs promoting competing solutions.
Weve used one to remove odors/musty/mildew from closed/unused or damp places very effectively.
