Which means they are not filled with the Sirit/under His control (Eph. 5:17,18).
Not so...The Spirit of God teaches at all levels of growth in the Christian Life.... As well the unbeliever whom God draws to himself in the use of scripture.........it is the work of His Spirit to all ...just as they are.
As Paul wrote.......For this reason...” that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might ‘through His Spirit’ in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,” may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be ‘filled with all the fullness of God’.
God's Spirit always teaches the seeking in His time and what He chooses to reveal. We may want to know or understand what we think is significant but it is He who determines how and when.....equally as much what.
As has been said....when the student ‘is ready’ God provides the teacher....It isn't so much about making up ones mind...as it is yielding our minds and ways to Him in all our study and let Him take us to what is significant for us to know.
The truth is God promised that His Word and His message would be brought through the ages .....this thread certainly gives the evidence this is so.
