California is about to fall in to the ocean?

Lowest altitude in Arizona is at the Colorado river on the border with Mexico at San Luis across from Sonora - 72 feet. With a large enough tsunami surge through the gulf of Mexico it might be possible. I doubt that much of California would go under in an earthquake.

One of Robert Heinlein's short stories, written during his pulp years, is about a tsunami sending the Gulf into the Imperial Valley and placing it all underwater.
