And new survey data. With Biden the presumptive nominee, the DNC would have commissioned a new set of surveys and focus groups. My guess is that the results show that the public thinks that Trump has done a good enough job on the pandemic, but that they are now worried about economic recovery. Biden and the Democrats are thus beginning to shift to economic issues and will attack Trump’s recovery efforts as skewed toward the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class.
