If you can't guarantee that you won't come into contact with any vulnerable people or other people who come into contact with vulnerable people, then wear the dang mask in places where it's hard to social distance.
It's not that hard.

Vulnerable people, or those likely to spend time with vulnerable people, need to avoid the less vulnerable - ie, almost anyone in reasonably good health outside of a nursing home!
“It’s not that hard.”
It isn’t. Let the vulnerable minimize their risk and let the rest of us get on with life. Or death - it comes to us all, eventually. Maybe tomorrow in a car crash....
So let those who need to be cautious, BE cautious
