I love it. When I studied anthropology in the 80’s the “settled
Science claimed the earliest north Americans could be no earlier than 11.5 thousand yrs bp.

All suggesting earlier were quacks.

When I studied anthropology in the 80’s the “settled Science claimed the earliest north Americans could be no earlier than 11.5 thousand yrs bp.

This was based on Clovis artifacts and the known age of the ice free corridor leading from Alaska down to the lower 48. Since then, well documented sites of early man that pre-date Clovis have been found and confirmed. When I started studying Geology, continental drift had just moved from the conjecture to the most likely category. Scientific knowledge continues to advance, despite the fact that these days there are many political detours along the way.
