They should have check the reviews on hitmen. According to Yelp, he was not highly rated as he usually go to the FBI. Yelp does have a few Hitmen with 5 stars... 😋

Last I knew the starting rate was $2,000
That was before the virus and everyone was working. With the current price of oil, $30 will buy a hitman a lot of gas........

Usually the hitman turns out to be an undercover cop... The average 16 year old girl does not have the funds to hire a real hitman, She might contact her drug connection, thinking he would know, but what he's going to do is set her up for the cops, in exchange for leniency the next time he needs a favor from a prosecutor.

19 year old guy and 16 year old girl...3 years difference...In my opinion, very few prosecutors would go after the guy...

The girl then said that her stepfather had slapped and punched her, and to get Weaver angry told him on social media that he had also sexually assaulted her — a claim she later told police she had fabricated, authorities said in arrest documents. Women don't lie about these things.
