New from the Rolling Stones, recorded last year, released last week
Buy Mick says that the words were re-worked a bit for the current situation. Great Song and typical late Stones. The accompanying video is stunning in that it features cities from around the world—ghost empty.
Cause Antifa has no rhythm.
Old song.
Leave Me Alone--Baby Washington (1963)
Set Me Free - Utopia
Born Free - Roger Williams
Good song, but is not addressed to the current problem.
Why has our hippie class not bombarded us with protest songs as they did in 1966?
You would not believe the number of tie dye wearing, pony tail (if they have hair), Grateful Dead listening customers I have at the fair that are firmly Trumpsters. It is like maybe 95 percent. Maybe they just know the vibe...
It’s one of those songs that always sounds good. I hear it 50 years after it was released and it still sounds great
The new Michigan Anthem - Stranglehold!
They can dig it.
What this country is coming to,
I sure would like to know.
If they don't do something by and by,
I mean the rich will live and the poor will die.
Doggone, I mean the panic is on.
Can't get no work, can't draw no pay.
Unemployment's getting worse every day.
Nothing to eat, no place to sleep,
All night long, folks walking the street.
Doggone, you know the panic is on.
All You Zombies.... The Hooters
And the lamesteram media would have everyone believe that conservatives like to listen to harpsichord music as they sip sherry.
as they sip sherry.
********
I know Sherry. She’s not a sipping kinda gal.
Laura Ingraham ended her program by saying -
- YouTube has taken down Dr. Dan Erickson and Dr. Artin Massihi’s video -
she had them on her show today talking about ending the lockdown.
There is this guy I know that played for a while with Roy Rogers, perhaps the best Slide Blues Guitarist these days. Cut his chops with John Lee Hooker. But I digress. For the last few years, Roy would perform with this cat that played blues harp...and it was a Harp...not harmonica. really trippy. I have some soundboards that I recorded when they rolled into town a few years back. I wish I could find a way to transfer it here....
