Hey, it’s revenue for the Dallas Collective!!!
So was it a Mercedes Benz 450 SEL or a Ferarri 275 GTB? Fantastic video the downshift thru the Louvre is great.
Francis Lewis Blvd is still a popular street racing site in Queens. When I was a kid the section of the Garden State Pkwy extension between the NY Thruway and the Old Schoolhouse Rd exit just before the NJ state line was our hot spot. Crazy times.
Also CR 1, across the black dirt area in Pine Island, NY right by the onion fields. Looks like the drag race scene from American American Graffiti.
Used to be a paramedic. Saw horrible accidents and the driver was just fine. Saw dead folk in relatively minor accidents.
When it’s your time it’s time, and not a minute sooner.
Very impressive for an early Sunday morning in Paris in 1976. Probably “pissoired” off a lot of people in the morning, but I agree with an earlier poster going through the Louvre was very impressive. I thought his car would get stuck between that narrow opening.
“Racing In The Street”
I got a sixty-nine Chevy with a 396
Fuelie heads and a Hurst on the floor
She’s waiting tonight down in the parking lot
Outside the Seven-Eleven store
Me and my partner Sonny built her straight out of scratch
And he rides with me from town to town
We only run for the money, got no strings attached
We shut ‘em up and than we shut ‘em down
Tonight, tonight the strip’s just right
I wanna blow ‘em off in my first heat
Summer’s here and the time is right
For racin’ in the street
I think I would have went and bought a lottery ticket if I was that guy! lol...
