give that girl a cheeseburger ...
Thanks for posting.
Magnificent!
When she did spins it looked as if her lead toe were on a spindle, her spins were that tight and never moved.
Always loved her transitions in spin, which are very difficult.
Wow!
That last spin caused the hairs on my back to rise.
Amazing
I’d take her for a ‘spin’...
She harkens back to the old days of school figures instead of todays triple and quad jumps. That scratch spin at the end made me dizzy.
In-freaking-credible. She defies the physical limits, the laws of physics! With a smile!
Yep, that gal is definitely a spinner.......
I saw her skate in 1992 at the World Championships, great on a recording, stupendous in person. Her coach had her do several spins at one rehearsal I attended, the crowd loved it.
That there is some serious RPMs.
I agree. With more meat on her legs and commensurate strength, she would have been a medalist.
Nonetheless, she was an incredible athlete with a unique talent.
This should be breaking news. /s
In all series, figure skating is not a sport — a highly athletic artistic event, yes — but definitely not a sporting event.
You’d think that would bore a hole right through the ice.
I remember her. Loved her spins. :D
Oh come on, you obviously never watched the Heterosexual Men’s Figure Skating Championships....
