My judgement of Sweden will come in about a year from now, for that - rates of new cases & deaths from November 2020 through April 2021 - is how their level of achieved herd immunity may show it is achieving its longer term results.

Sheltering all the healthy now (as we are trying to do) only reduces the level of herd immunity being achieved and insures higher rates of infection as the virus comes back around, as it will. Sweden may be obtaining greater herd immunity now and have a less severe next round than others who shut down so much.

We will have to wait to see, in about a year. Look at the comparative rates of new cases and death rates from November 2020 to April 2021. If Sweden is doing better, it’s rates at that time will be comparatively lower.
