Ok now I see that the arrest was on the west side of the State Capital on or near the sidewalk. The other arrest was of a person who had an outstanding warrant. For those of us who have a clue...do not bring a gun to the State Capital in Denver...or you could be arrested...Sometimes the US Constitution is not as simple to understand as a person would prefer. And a warrant for arrest means to keep your head down...and don’t make waves.

I went to a 2A protest day at the Oregon State Capital last year. Lots of State Troopers were around. I wanted to take a picture from the Capital steps of the crowd and asked a trooper if it was OK. “sure no problem” he said. After I took my pictures and thanked him. I said “sorry you gotta be here instead of doing better things”. He laughed and said “This is the the safest place to be in the entire state today. I know most you guys are packing”. I laughed and said “I ain’t saying anything”.
