I made a mortgage payment for my favorite waitress at the local diner.
She saved her tips for 27 years. Paid her bills with her tips and then, last year, bought her first house. With her tips.
The rest went to my church.
Put it in the bank. When this is over I’m going up to Jersey to see my little grandsons. I was supposed to up on Easter.
When I do get it, I will replace part of the $2100 I had to pull out of savings to send to the IRS.

Kentucky is a very poor state, and poor Mitch is reduced to sending pleas to New Yorkers to help with his fund raising (I get an email from him every morning asking for assistance).
Plea says “Heartbreaking news,” “Fell short of our fund raising goals,” “Democrats are clobbering us in fund raising,” etc. etc.
Wonder how he’ll make out with that? Maybe the McConnell campaign should be allowed to declare bankruptcy?
So some people have actually received theirs? Nobody I know has.
