Do we expect a hostile press to give the President the benefit of the doubt for idle musings? And to disregard them as innocuous?
He’s a fool for jumping into the pig stye with them everyday and not to expect to get dirty. This is playground stuff.
Although I do see your point — you’re obviously intelligent and think about the various sides of things — I personally think everyone would benefit from not giving a flying fornication what a hostile press does, thinks, says feels or claims. The media has ONLY the power that We The People give it.
It would be a gargantuan task to get that through the heads of a substantial part of the population, but everything has to start somewhere. That includes de-programming the public from long-term brainwashing.
I hope that made some degree of sense. Sometimes I know exactly what I want to say, but it doesn’t come out the way I intend it to. :-)
