Not a kitten video, but a chipmunk one I found cute and funny. This one enjoys eating strawberry treats left out by a human.
Video, 3 minutes & 41 seconds
If things get tough, I will eat them no problem, and I have demonstrated I can catch them...but what if I run out of peanuts and peanut butter????
Reminds me of a funny story I was told by someone working at the Mary Todd Lincoln Estate up in Vermont...My wife and I stopped in one day when we were driving by, and it is the estate of the last living relative of Abraham Lincoln.
She was an elderly, frail woman living there with her servants, and they had a mouse problem. When they caught them, she wouldn’t allow them to kill them, and made them release the mice outside.
When they protested that the mice would come back in, she didn’t believe them, so they put a daub of paint on them as the old woman watched, and then released them outside. The next day, they would capture it again and would show it to her, but...no go. She would not relent...:)
I guess I didn’t care much about the squirrels, so I didn’t drive them that far.
But I caught six groundhogs in quick succession (They were destroying my wife’s vegetable garden) and I drove them file miles away to release them because I heard that if to don’t go at least that far, they will return.
Fortunately, at about the five mile mark, there was a community gardening plot supplied by the town that seems to be inhabited by hippie leftist types, so I released all the groundhogs there...(evil grin)
OK, OK, I apologize. I like nice, cute videos. I do like your effort to lighten up the current situation. I will refrain from offering my opinion. Sorry.......
I will go back in my hole.
I am sorry for making comments on your thread. I wish I had not been such an ass.
LOL, they are virtually indestructible. I saw one on my way to work one morning walking along a power line 50 feet over the road, when it lost its grip and plummeted into the rush hour traffic...it bounced on the asphalt, dodged two cars, and ran to the other side of the road and up a tree...
Gotta respect that!
Thank you.
Chipmunks are fine as long as they don’t start singing!
Unfortunately :/ I’ve got 5-6 of em tearing through the birdfeeder, so the cardinals aren’t hanging out much
bastards even got into the hou8se, chewed through the wire cage on the chimneytop and got in through there. Blocked that, tossed out two squirrels from the garage (left the attic door open for them to fall through), and trapped the last guy in the intercostal space/attic. Hot damn.
The Varmint Cong!
Ahhhhh : )
