The study found that the estimated level of novel coronavirus penetration in the county was 50-80% higher than what had been recorded.
The testing in LA and Santa Clara county didn't find that infections were 50-80% higher...they're 50-80 TIMES higher. That means the virus is much more widespread in the population than expected and much, much LESS lethal than expected. The vast majority of folks who caught the infection didn't even know it and just shrugged it off!
