I’m not sure that Benzalkonium Chloride is effective against the specific Covid-19 variant. I agree, it is one of only 3 ingredients approved by the FDA for antiseptics (the other 2 being Ethanol and Isopropanol). The FDA banned all others, like Triclosan. But the CDC does not have Benz Chloride on their list for CV-19. The CDC only mentions 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol. Hence my confusion.

On the contrary, Benzalkonium Chloride is widely used in hospitals as a disinfectant and antibacterial.
Triclosan replace Hexachlorophene in toothpastes, and soaps because of it’s neurological dangers.
Without the use of antibacterial soaps, shampoo, etc. we’d all smell like soup.
Have you every smelled raw soap.
