On one hand, I sympathize with the amount of work they put into a case only to have a liberal judge dismiss it with a slap on the wrist.
On the other hand, I’ve witnessed the evolution from ‘Officer Friendly’ to ‘you’re all the enemy’, which isn’t healthy for either side. I do know the way things are now, in my area, the young deputies are awful quick to pull their weapons, which isn’t intelligent in a very rural community.
