Problem is when people go to the beach they slather themselves with sunscreen. UV will not penetrate inside their bodies anyway. But it WILL destroy viruses in the air outside, reducing airborne contamination risks.

Without sunlight your body can’t make vitamin D which boosts your immune system. Sunlight works both outside and inside your body.
