Our doctor told us to keep outdoor shoes outside and not wear them in the house.
So maybe not so crazy after all.
We’ve been doing this, for years.
I bought inexpensice slippers, years ago - yeah...probably MIC - to keep by the door, if someone insists on wearing shoes/slippers, in the house.
I have a taped off area, about 6’ past the door, on the inside, where you cannot wear any outdoor shoes, past the tape. (For the littles, who forget to take their shoes off, outside.)
