Prime minister Pedro Sanchez said Spain’s lockdown will be eased within weeks
Spain recorded 4,211 new cases today, taking the total from 204,178 to 208,389
The death toll rose from 21,282 to 21,717 after another 435 were recorded today
S KOREA
South Korea has seen just 10,702 cases and 240 fatalities. A mass testing campaign, coupled with intensive contact tracing, has allowed the infected to quickly isolate, slowing the spread of the disease to make it more manageable for hospitals.
