There were crows like that in Auburn, NY many years ago. We were there for a swim meet for the kids and I had to go out to the car for something and I felt I was in the movie, The Birds. It was very creepy.
They used to have a crow shoot until the bleeding heart PETA groups started in. Then for some unexplained reason, the birds dispersed to other towns and I have not heard much since then about them being a problem.
Those birds are really dumb too. If you walk along a sidewalk with trees, the birds will fly out of the close tree and head for the next one. Over and over again. They have no way to calculate where you are headed. Lol
