I don’t doubt that obesity immune system. But I don’t understand the math. 40% of Americans are obese - 50% of covid patients are obese. So what does that mean? It’s nearly at the same % as the population.
Diabetes and obesity are cited as major risk factors with this virus. If you are both and catch the disease you probably are headed for a hospital. If you are neither maybe you are asymptomatic. We need widespread testing.
