I added my comments again to that report again. They didn't added.
hat tip to mongrel.
"A little detail left out of the abstract and put on page 12,
However, hydroxychloroquine, with or without azithromycin, was more likely to be prescribed to patients with more severe disease, as assessed by baseline ventilatory status and metabolic and hematologic parameters."
These Vets were already in crisis mode.

Yes. When I read the report, it sounded like their sample group was likely already hospitalized for other conditions and in addition, diagnosed with COVID-19. Where I tried to pin that down, the wording was “....hospitalized with...” and not “...hospitalized for...” Covid-19.

just a Followup
they took my last set of comments.
Turns out according to Sec of VA, these 368 were "last gaspers"
"Responding to the results during an appearance on MSNBC, Wilkie said, “That’s an observational study. It’s not a clinical study. It was done on a small number of veterans; sadly, those of whom were in the last stages of life, and the drug was given to them.”

Of the 368 only 70 died...so why aren't they hailing that 298 "last gaspers" are alive because of the hydroxychloroquine treatment?
