We may be witnessing the birth of a movement that could be the most important result of the COVID-19 nightmare: the anti-lockdown protests sweeping the country.
Per our usual agreement, the media is totally getting it wrong. It’s not about being able to go to restaurants or movies or even only about going back to work. It’s certainly not about a death cult or not taking the virus seriously.
The protests are, at core, about people who want their rights back — rights that have been snatched in just a few weeks time. It’s driven by people who understand the threat of tyrannical government, and that threat is very, very real. It’s happening right in front of our eyes.
Probably the best face of Orwell’s dystopian 1984 is New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Although the Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is a close second. Mayor de Blasio is calling on residents to report their neighbors to law enforcement for violations of social distancing protocols. And it’s made super easy. Yay! How do you narc out your neighbors who don’t obey government edicts? “It’s simple: just snap a photo and text it to 311-692.” de Blasio said. “We will make sure that enforcement comes right away.”

The basic questions are, are there no limits to a governor’s ability to rule by decree in this situation? Are Constitutionally protected rights somehow less protected in a public health emergency? These are important questions. The Democrats seem to be saying, how dare you even raise these questions. You will obey us or else. Sheesh. Talk about the control left.
Our rights have not been snatched in just a few weeks. It has been happening for decades. Our rights will be restored when government is 90% of its current size.
Those questions shouldn’t even need to be asked. Our rights come from God, not government. It is the job of government to protect our rights. People need to begin exercising their full rights, including the 2A.

I’m not sure why more businesses aren’t just opening up and telling the state to come in and try to shut you down. The federal descriptions of essential businesses are so vague as to include just about anything.
If you have ever dealt with an essential business, then you can be considered essential as well. The descriptions are meant to be vague because there are no definable standards for essential workers and essential businesses. As far as I can tell, the states are supposed to use the federal CISA guidelines, but it appears as if improper determinations of what businesses and products are essential probably should be challenged. If you sell haircuts to police officers and a haircut is mandatory for the community’s police standards, then you as a barber are providing essential work. If you make or sell toys to the children’s hospital, then you are providing goods to an essential service. If the governor of the state wants to challenge you on opening, then there is your battleground. Arm yourself with an attorney and open up for business tomorrow and see what happens.

It’s going to take a second round of even bigger protests cause at this point it looks as if the DUmmy Governors are doubling-down.

Look - the entire news cycle for the last month and a half has been the coronavirus task force and the nations fight against this “invisible enemy”

The bottom line is is the virus is dead we have declared victory and now it is going to get back to regular politics but in the intermediate. We have the shut down crisis and the revolt against it !!!

The show next week is going to be the protest against government tyranny led by the left

It’s been years since I first saw the excellent Kubrick film “Spartacus”.

As I watched it again, I was reminded of the asinine comment by the Democrat buffoon (but I repeat myself) of the Senate, Cory Booker, that “I am Spartacus” during one of the idiotic efforts to take out President Trump.
Booker’s initials “C.B.” more appropriately stand for “COMPLETELY BRAINDEAD”, “COMMUNIST BLOWHARD” and several others I shan’t specify lest I offend.

Spartacus was a SLAVE who fomented and led a REVOLT against his self-entitled Roman oligarch masters.
If prevaricating, duplicitous, scandalous MARXIST Democrats get their grimy hands on the levers of POWER in November, ol’ “C.B.” would NOT be the SLAVE, let alone SPARTACUS: He and his fellow travelers would be the masters of the approximately 40% of the electorate comfortable with their status as SLAVES!
It would be the approximately 60% of us who supported Trump who would have to become Spartacus to return America to the vision of the Founding Fathers.
