AIDS has killed many more and they won’t close the bathhouses.
They also have changed laws so it is no longer criminal to withhold positive HIV-AIDS status from a (potential) sex partner. Informed consent? Social distancing? Abstinence? What’s that???
I was hoping they would introduce concepts like Kalman filtering, that address the problem of unknown variables and other uncertainties which affect your results. The models that I’ve seen all seem to pretend that they’ve accounted for everything. Everything that’s important, anyway.
Those who claim that “public health” is on their side will take any action to reinforce that assertion.

The economy could be thriving with measures to keep employees and customers from spreading the disease while working and shopping, if the troublemakers trying to spread it were shut down or removed.
