I think Bill has figured out all this panic is going to kill Hollywood...
Hollywood is coming to realize that there is still money in old product and not just the week a title is released to DVD.
The streaming services are doing well with “latest” releases but also “comfort food” old films that people want to watch and classics that they’ve heard about but never watched.
And old films can be something from the 80s or 90s, don’t have to mean OLD.
So much of Hollywood bookkeeping has been focused on the opening weekend of a blockbuster to the rejection of supporting smaller films that will have 20 year lifecycles bringing in money for generations.
