Software engineers who understand what’s inside will tell you: Chrome is shit.

It’s all $hit, just some $hit is less trustworthy than others

...."Chrome is shit."....

Is that why Microsoft chose to base Edge on Chrome?

I have to use the whole Google suite for work, and I despise it.

It seems like a 3/4 baked suite of software, full of buggy little things. I admit, I do like Google Meet as a drop dead simple way of having a video conference, but even that is limited for an IT person since you can’t control someone else’s screen.

I dislike Google Apps. You can’t copy stuff out of a spreadsheet and paste it into Gmail. You have to paste it into sheets, copy it out from sheets, and paste into Gmail. Then, if the cells don’t paste right, you can’t edit them there, you have to delete it, go back into Sheets, reformat, cross your fingers and paste back in Gmail.

Google Drive would be a good thing, but it has so many quirks I rarely use it. Such as, you can’t open and edit a non-Google App document (such as a Word or Excel document) from the drive. You have to download it, edit it, and re-upload it.

I really hate everything about it except Google Meet.
