Yes, our county in Texas reduced the number by three last week or so. We only had 11 cases. All that was listed was something like ‘a male 65, a female 70’ and we did get a precinct number of cases.

THANK YOU HIPPA since such limited information can go out. I laughed at first when Hollywood and sports let it out who had it and here in a small county, it’s buried and the person’s won’t identify!!! There was a case at a McDonalds with an employee so they sanitized and reopened.

Same here in our county, which seems larger than yours. We only get the zip code of those who have it. My zip code has five. Most around me are zero or one. The large population zip code area has all the cases.

The patient is free to tell you their disease.

HIPPA doesn’t allow the medical profession from spreading that information. It’s a good way to lose your job, be sued personally, and have the hospital jeopardize their Medicare funding.

You guys have to decide which way you want it. Hospitals could make huge profits selling your data...or you can keep your health information private.

You cannot have it both ways.
