It seems to work pretty well in the treatment of persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn in conjunction with high frequency oscillation ventilation.
High frequency oscillation is not used in adults anymore, I haven’t done pets in so long, I am not sure if they are using it there. Kids turn blue way to quick for my taste...Nitric — true for pulmonary hen, but we rarely use it in adult medicine and it is damn near impossible to get. I suppose the academic institutions try it here and there, but I am not bullish on this.
