That's nice! No lugging 5 gallon cans of gas around, like I have to do. I fill up 6 cans at a time when I make a run for gas at the filling station. :(

I've thought about having a large propane tank installed just for the generator. You're lucky, NG is practically an endless supply of fuel for a generator. It also burns cleaner, which means oil changes are less frequent, and can be stretched 2 - 3 times longer than for a gasoline powered generator. LP/NG powered engines last longer to.

We did that, after Ike.

This one keeps the essentials running....fridge, freezer and an a/c.
