France exceeds 12,000 deaths in hospitals alone
France has registered an additional 227 deaths in hospitals in the last 24 hours, the French director-general for health said at a press conference. The figure does not include fatalities in homes or private homes. This Sunday’s data brings to 12,069 fatalities caused by Covid-19 in French hospitals.
In addition to these data, there are the 7,649 deaths recorded in homes and private homes, a number that brings to 19,778 the total number of deaths attributed to infection by the new coronavirus. There are still 30,610 people hospitalized, 5,744 of whom are in intensive care. It is a number that has been dropping for 11 days - this Sunday, 89 people are in serious condition less than in the previous 24 hours.
