“Of the 397 people tested, 146 people tested positive. Not a single one had any symptoms...”
Mind blown ..

I wonder about the HIV component. Some virus have an ability to hide in your body (herpes virus is example, and there are others) until something triggers a full blown outbreak in the body. I've read many scientist believe the HIV component of the coronavirus indicates it's man made.
Regardless, that is an amazing statistic! One wonders what it could mean at several levels.
Homeless do get more sunlight than anyone. They are also exposed to greater temp extremes. Also, coastal areas have greater humidity. About the only physical difference I can see. All those would tend to lower their viral density exposure. Their immune systems are probably more exposed to disease also. Now any have lung tissue damage ? Did they check for weakened immune system markers ?
When I first commented, it had not registered that this was in a homeless shelter. I guess the takeaway is that if you are tough enough to survive homelessness, what’s a little virus? The weak ones have already died.
