The highest officials in the CDC come to you and tell you there is a Virus coming from China that is a new, unknown virus. It is extremely virulent with no known cause or cure. They tell you it could KILL 2,200,000 Americans within weeks or months at most. Everyone in Gov’t agrees.
What would you do if it were you in President Trump’s position at that time?
That said, President Trump quickly realized several weeks in that shutting down the country could be a cure worse than the disease. He said so publicly. Took unbelievable heat for saying so, yet, he stuck by it.
In fact, he heavily promoted OPENING our country back for business in spite of the Medical Community resistance. Why? Because he was correct. This cure is worse than the disease. The Shutsown of our Economy is unsustainable.
