Are masks and gloves all you need to save yourself from certain death from the Coronavirus?
We wear the masks over our nose and mouth to protect ourselves from the airborne contaminants but what are you doing to protect your eyes
Walking into my local Meijer store yesterday thru the automatic sliding doors I was hit with a sudden whoosh of air flowing out of the store; air that was likely contaminated with the virus. So if the virus can indeed enter your body thru your eyes, what good is wearing a mask when you are not protecting your eyes too?
Nearly all masks folks are wearing prevent YOU from infecting other people.
For you to protect yourself, you need a mask with filter and a way to 100% protect your eyes - like goggles.
Guess you better wear goggles too.

No, they don’t. Cotton masks are wholly inefficient. They do nothing to stop the spread of contagion. The N95s have a oneway valve that allows the exhalant to pass unfiltered.
You should wear goggles or other eye protection if you are likely to encounter the virus and are in an at risk population.
I don’t know if viral load has ever been reviewed on eyeballs for COVID, so we don’t know if one or 100,000 are needed on an eyeball for an infection to truly start.
I wear my mask on my forehead. Just to fut with people. I gotta have some fun dude.

Same here.....I should have caught it by now or maybe I already did but never realized it.
Although I've had a temperature of 99.6 since yesterday when I was feeling really tired too but now all I have is the temperature and I feel fine.

Surgeons don't wear cotton masks. They use a special medical grade N95 rated mask usually with an eye shield.
