Old chloroquine (and derivite) work was done on cell cultures. It says nothing about the drug working in vivo.
Remember that new promising anticancer drugs are discovered every few months -- in vitro.
But I would not argue further, if one wants to believe in magic bullets, why not?
Old Cloroquine work did not include zinc either. But if you want to die trying a new drug that has a kill ratio around the same as the virus, have at it.
But a two in 120 side effect death ratio is not what I call good odds against HCQ zinc with even lesser odds of possible poop problems.
