“My grandmother passed away in 2018 — and $1,200 was deposited in her bank account today.”

Did anybody ask why his deceased Grandmother still has an active bank account?

And why he’s checking it.
When my mother died I notified SS about 2 days later. They told me they were going to pull her last check back out so to leave it. I did. They did and then I went and closed the account.

Sometimes probate can take years.

Could be the estate hasn't been probated yet.

Somebody’s probably getting her social security benefit too.
No reason to think this is not widespread too.

Funding for the (D) candidates this way is only appropriate since they will be getting her vote.
