Everyone’s weird, Olga. It’s not all about you. Get over yourself.
The article reminded me of a brand new PHD "professor" who taught a college class (supposedly on psychology) and decided to use his thesis on "Individualism" as his "lesson plan".
His ego was front and center and it was heading for a long and tiring ordeal so I raised my hand to ask if I was getting it right...told him from what I gathered, God made us all individually different and some folks were insecure in their own skin and not satisfied with who they were, so they decided to find some way of standing out and demonstrating they are different and ended up joining a clique of people with similar issues and a homogeneous desire to be other than what God made them....as a way of masking their insecurity and pretending they didn't care what others thought s they assiduously strove to have folks think them special.
He turned red, mumbled that if the class wanted, he could use a more standard lesson format and gave everyone an "A" w/o a final exam.
