AUSTIN, Texas Gov. Greg About issued a series of executive orders Friday that will help Texas gradually reopen Texas.
The first executive order will establish a strike force that includes a team medical experts and leaders Rep. Dennis Bonnen, Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and attorney Glenn Hegar.
The force will also have advisers from the business community such as jeweler Kendra Scott and philanthropist Jim Mattress Mack McIngvale.
Starting April 22, Abbott said current restrictions on medical procedures will be lifted such as a diagnostic test for cancer.
Starting April 24, Abbott said retailers will be allowed to do to-go shopping.
