The wuhan virus is a different type of virus than influenza virus. So antibodies from the flu wouldn’t help with COVID-19. There were some people who tested positive for both COVID-19 and the Flu, indicating they had both viruses at the same time.
I’ve been thinking lately: What if you recently had a bad cold? Since both a cold and the China Virus are TYPES of coronavirus, would having had a cold confer any antibodies or immunity on a person?
