OMG! The first computer we had I bought for our sons. It was a Coco (Radio Shack Color Computer). I'm a mac person, have been since the beginning (used them at work/college).

So I bought some rum and called my tipsy sister to help me. We spent a whole day and night typing in the code to make a fireplace with flames that moved....line after line after pages of CODE! It was good for me, taught me to stay Mac, and good for our boys, taught them some basic coding, enough to get along in both worlds. I moved on to different jobs, usually had a Windoze machine (ask me how I know MIchigan’s state computers are so out of date and written in COBOL!)and could do just fine...as long as no coding involved.

Know what you mean, I learned enough BASIC to make a little choo-choo plod across the screen. Put me right off coding.
Had an Apple II clone after that but have been MS-DOS and Windows since then, would go Mac, but I don’t want to replace all my software, and I really don’t need a new PC yet.
