When I was living in college dorms, some folks would order pizza to be delivered to a room known to be unoccupied. When the delivery guy showed up and nobody answered the door, their instructions were to try to sell the pizza half-price to anyone nearby. So, of course, the perpetrator was right there to accept the half-price pizza. Slick.
I live in the country, with no pizza delivery service, so excuse my ignorance. But wouldn’t a place ask for a credit card before they brought out an order?
