I notice that many “blonds” are now sporting other tones in the TV news business.
Used my Flowbee over the weekend, now I’m the neatest looking guy at work. Wow they’re getting shaggy around here lol!
Too many Karens around!
Seriously, my hair hasn't been this long since I was 17 years old back in the 1970s. I'm going to come back to the office looking like one of the Gibb brothers. I'm pretty sure I have a white suit in the back of my closet somewhere.
You should have had my barber. He died 2 years ago, but used to charge $12.00 for a haircut when he was alive.
I remember when I was a kid dad would put a pot over my head
and clip any hair that was showing. And he left my ears alone.
No one is using the number of hospitalizations to calculate death rate, except you and perhaps CNN, CBS, ABC, and NBC.
My county has 85 confirmed cases with 1 death, a presumed death rate of 1.1 %. The real number is clearly much lower since the number of those infected, but not counted because they have not presented or tested are not known.
ick
My sister is named Karen — and she is a Karen.
Double whammy! ;-)
All my father did was take me to the barber twice a year and tell the barber to give me a crew cut. It was usually just before school started and then again right around springtime.
Finally stopped that routine when I was around 15 and that's how it got Allman Brothers long by 17. Then the Marine Corps got a hold of me and that was that for my long hair days.
Trust me...a Staci is worse than 20 Karens.
It would be interesting — very interesting — to know how this compares to the “regular flu” over, say, the past five years in your county. Any idea?
She pissed me off a week and a half ago when I showed up for my appointment only to find the shop closed. I wasn't aware they were considered non-essential. The least she could have done was text me to cancel......
That was the excuse I needed to dump her. I'm going to a place called Great Clips that sent me coupons for $10 haircuts.....
Yes. I trust that as a professional she wouldn't come to work if she was sick. Last year, during cold and flu season, I got my haircut too and didn't get the flu from her (or anyone else) either.
I don't worry that the kid stocking the shelves at the store is infected. I don't eat the packaging and I've always cleaned my produce.
I don't worry that the person who used the gas pump before me is infected - I've never licked the handle.
I don't worry about the mailman (well, mail-person) sneezing on my letters and packages.
In short, I practice what I have been taught as normal good hygiene. I'm not a slob, nor am I a germophobe.
I refuse to live my life in fear - fear of any one or any thing. If you live in fear, then someone can control you with that fear. That is exactly what they are doing now with this "pandemic." I won't play along. I will not accept their little power fantasies. We are going back to normal. Well, I am. I don't care if the rest of you come along or not. But I am sick of this excrement. I feel we got played, badly.
Flowbee You can still buy them! Just need that upright vacuum.

I get my haircut at a more traditional shop, so there are a lot of chairs side-by-side, all around the floor. Hopefully, there will be 1) some signage that asks people not to enter if they're sick or have had any signs of the virus in the past 7-14 days, 2) some "mandatory" social-distance requirements; e.g., allow a chair of separation between you and another customer; and 3) people that actually follow some common courtesy and abide by this.
