A couple of places I’ve been watching are Singapore and India. India has gone from under 500 cases 10 days ago to 10,000 today. My concern there—beyond the obvious human concern—is that a lot of the drugs we don’t get from China, we get from India. We should keep an eye on them.

Singapore was noted at the start as the best system in the world. They were doing a great job—and their announcers deaths are still in single digits. But they had more than 300 cases reported today. That is quite a pop.

One of the things I remember from the first month or so was to “watch Singapore...if they cannot hold it at bay...no one can.”

I still think we are not over the hump on this world wide. Africa explodes next.

Yeah, I read a couple of concerning articles on Singapore today... they started weeks before the US, and have had precise contact tracing and testing from the very beginning

It is a very bad sign indeed if they can’t contain it.

Just a follow up on Singapore.

“Complacency” is a factor in the resurgence. That’s not good news.

Thanks for the info. I have been wondering about India, and its neighbor Pakistan.

Billions of people with poor hygiene.

What’s to worry about? :/
