President Trump retweeted a post Sunday evening that included a call to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, the controversial member of Trump’s White House coronavirus task force who accused Trump of ignoring his advice to institute social distancing in mid-February in an interview with CNN Sunday morning, saying that lives “could have been saved.” Trump himself did not directly comment on Fauci.
Later Sunday video from February 29 resurfaced of Fauci on the Today Show telling Americans they did not need to alter their behavior for the COVID-19 Chinese coronavrius.
Trump wrote, “Sorry Fake News, it’s all on tape. I banned China long before people spoke up. Thank you @OANN”, over a tweet by former GOP congressional candidate DeAnna Lorriane that said, “Fauci is now saying that had Trump listened to the medical experts earlier he could’ve saved more lives. Fauci was telling people on February 29th that there was nothing to worry about and it posed no threat to the US public at large. Time to #FireFauci…”

In other words, Trump did not type in the hashtag himself on his tweet. It would be like if your tagline said "I like strawberries" and I bumped your post. It would not mean that I like strawberries too.

If the Fake News Opposition Party is pushing, with all their might, the fact that President Trump “ignored early warnings about the threat,” then why did Media & Dems viciously criticize me when I instituted a Travel Ban on China? They said “early & not necessary.” Corrupt Media!
President Trump has good instincts, he knows he needs to bring in a new team to his press conferences and on how he is going to open the country back up. Sounds though he needs to move the time line up to cut off loose ends.
First should be the announcement that effective May 1st the Governors should use their discretion and open as they see fit in their states. This will somewhat switch the responsibility onto those governors away from Trump.
If I were to guess Republican governors will open and the Democrats will resist but will be forced to comply or pay a political price.
President Trump should push for infrastructure but in no way allow the Dem’s to add their immoral socialist agenda. If that means no bill then we will make due without.
Trump has to be fuming at Fauci right now. Whether Fauci meant to say something or has been misinterpreted, it does not matter. He allowed himself to be used for political purposes. If I was Trump, there would be a one-on-one with Fauci prompto.
