NEW PORT RICHEY A New Port Richey woman was arrested after she repeatedly called 911 for non-emergency help despite being warned not to do so, the Pasco County Sheriffs Office said.
Jessica Ann Tyler, 33, of New Port Richey, was charged with Misuse of the 911 System.
According to the arrest affidavit, Tyler was warned Wednesday (Oct. 23) not to use the 911 system for non-emergency calls. The deputy left and drove down the street where he parked to fill out his report. In the meantime, Tyler again called 911 to complain that the deputy had been no fg help. She was then arrested and charged.
Pasco deputies said that, before calling 911 on Wednesday, she had called the emergency dispatch services 11 times over the preceding 15 days. Eight of those 11 calls were made by dialing 911.
Those calls included one reporting drug activity at a neighbors home. Deputies said that, at that time, she was given the appropriate number to call.
One of those 11 calls was a transfer from the Florida Highway Patrol, which she had called to report the drug activity.
Records showed that three of those calls were made Oct. 11 while she was in the hospital to request that a nurse come to her room.
Deputies said she was warned at least three times not to use the 911 system for non-emergency calls and the penalty if she continued.

Well, at least its not Floridaman
They don’t call it New Port Raunchy for no reason.
Remember something about Florida....this state aint populated by Florida natives.
I had serious back surgery 40 years ago and I could not convince the nurses I needed something so I called my surgeon at his office across town and 10 minutes later I was attended too...
This ding would make a great HOA block captain.
Florida women are almost as bad as the men. Years ago a florida woman called the cops on illegal gambling - - without mentioning her husband was one of the men playing poker (in the rec room at the retirement center) with other old men. The men were arrested - something like two dollars was found on the table.. penny ante understatement.
This woman sounds like an idiot......letting the dope dealers know she's the snitch is one way to solve that problem.
Me too. I had a Cath done and dye was used. I had a low kidney function and doctor told me the hospital would be giving me IV’s to push the dye out of me. Well the nurse hung the bag but didn’t connect it to me. I told her this was ordered by the doctor. I called him at 11:30PM. Five minutes later she connected the bag to my
IV.
